I do like this sleep bag and I don’t dispute that baby sleeps well in it and temperature seems more regulated.. however, using it on a baby (ours is now 4 months), you have to tuck the end of the bag under the mattress and it’s quite a substantial chunk of bag to tuck, so one, it raises the bottom end of the mattress a little and means baby is sleeping on a bit of an incline (not ideal for a reflux baby) and two, it’s bloody hard to tuck in the mattress without waking baby up!
I’ve tried tucking the bag into the mattress and placing baby in after when she’s asleep, but the noise of the poppets and zippers wakes her up. Also tried getting her to sleep in it and tucking it in after that, but that wakes her up too!! Great bag but wish instead there could be a zip off additional insert or something to increase the length, rather than having to navigate the stressful mattress tuck!

Lovely sleeping bag

Very soft and cosy and feels great quality. Live the colour and has washed well. Baby is very happy in it! Really like having a natural fabrics option for her rather than synthetics. Great customer service too.

Doesn’t improve sleep

My 6 month old was waking every 2 hours and I desperately hoped this would be a magic cure. Sadly things actually got worse when we started using it! Firstly… when the product arrived the comforter was broken with sharp metal prongs sticking out of it… im relieved I noticed this before giving to my baby! The customer care team were great and very quickly sent out 2 replacement comforters. It just doesn’t make me feel confident with how well this product is made.
Sadly since using sleeping bag my baby has gone from waking every 2 hours… to waking every 45 minutes. We went back to using old sleeping bag and she slept 2 hours again. I’m aware there are many reasons for babies to wake and likely not related to sleeping bag at all… I just feel the marketing is heavily suggesting this bag will help with sleep. I don’t want other parents to put all their hope into this.

I’ll try bag again in a week and consider returning if things get worse again with baby’s sleep.

Hi Laura - I'm so sorry to hear that you've been struggling so much with your little ones sleep. It can be so exhausting and so hard.

Re the popper issue on your comforter: Our team are looking into this and taking it very seriously. All the poppers on our sleeping bags have to pass through five very vigorous quality control checks, at different stages of production, which test specifically for strength and stability. So we have no idea how this has happened and are taking it up with our manufacturers as a matter of importance.

Re the bag seemingly not helping with your little ones sleep: Sleep is such a tricky and also such a personal thing with babies. The reason that over 90% of our customers experience better sleep in our sleeping bags is that the vast majority of unnecessary night wakings are caused by babies being too hot or too cold. This is a really simple and easy fix with our sleeping bags as the unique natural fabrics used are the market leaders in temperature control. However, if your baby is waking for other reasons, it's not such a simple fix. Although a lot of babies feel very comforted by the weight of the bag, not all night wakings are things our bags can help with.

We'd love to know how you get on when you try the bag out again in a week or so. As magical as they say it’ll be

Our baby went from waking every 30 mins to doing a 6 hour stretch from the first night we used it.

Amazing!

We LOVE this sleep sack! The quality is amazing. He immediately found the comforter & rubbed his face with it &, that same first night, I simply put him down in the next to me & he self soothed, with no tears.
He has also had a few allergy symptoms since birth & since swaping to this sleep sack he is no longer snuffly, congested or waking up with very gunky eyes.! Yay! Definitely an investment & we will be buying another ( I always like to have a spare)
